The Reincarnated Assassin is a Genius Swordsman 1383
Chapter 1383
Shaaaaaaaaaaa!
The Silver-White Aurora did not waver in the slightest, even as it held more than ten thousand members of the Demonic Corps captive with nothing but its cold. Unless they received help from the outside, it seemed the angels would never be able to break free.
“That power is insane!”
Martha exclaimed as she looked at Raon, who was wrapped in white frost like a long robe.
“I’ll catch up to you, no matter what!”
Even after witnessing Raon’s absolute might, she refused to be discouraged and declared that she would catch up to him.
"You think you can catch up even after seeing that?"
Envy, the Monarch of Envy, let out a hollow laugh.
“I knew I had a good eye for people.”
She smacked her lips, pleased that she had granted Martha her authority.
“I guess you have to look at something like that and still think, ‘I won’t lose,’ to become stronger….”
Burren clenched his fist as he looked at the enormous mountain of ice Raon had created.
“A world where you have to be crazy to become strong. I like it.”
He burst into laughter as though he found it absurd, yet did not hide his competitive spirit toward Raon.
“Perfect...”
Runaan clasped her hands together and bowed her head toward Raon.
“Frost...”
As she said that Raon’s handling of frost was close to perfect, a blush appeared on her face, an extremely rare sight. She seemed to have fallen in love with Raon’s sheer might itself.
“Hmm...”
Sloth, the Monarch of Sloth, narrowed his eyes as he erased another meteor falling through the opened sky.
“Not bad...”
Since he still believed Raon was Wrath, he showed no particular surprise even after seeing the nearly perfect Silver-White Aurora.
“Hiiiiiiik!”
Dorian screamed and fell backward at the sight of the mountain of frost standing right before his eyes.
“D-Did he really freeze all those celestials?”
Having always been around Raon, he seemed stunned by the power of the Silver-White Aurora, his pale blue lips trembling.
“B-But they won’t be able to get out of there, right?”
Dorian swallowed dryly, apparently worried about that possibility.
“You don’t have to worry...”
Gluttony, the Monarch of Gluttony, slowly shook her head.
“That frost can’t be broken from the inside...”
She too believed Raon to be Wrath, and waved her hand, saying there was no need to worry about those angels.
“Raon!”
“Wrath!”
Evelyn and Lust called out Raon’s and Wrath’s names at the same time.
“So cool!”
“You’re the best!”
With their hands clasped in the same pose, the two women called out the name of the man each of them desired and licked their red lips. The nearby celestials fled in terror before the pressure of the two women radiating terrifying magical power.
“Wooooow...”
Krein’s eyes widened to the point of tearing as he stared in astonishment at Raon’s might, which had raised an enormous mountain of frost in an instant.
“J-Just how far is that human going to go?”
His jaw trembled as he said that Raon no longer looked human to him.
“As expected.”
Greed applauded Raon with an impressed exclamation.
“My investments are never wrong.”
He smacked his lips with a greedy gleam in his eyes, pleased that he had chosen Raon.
“Hmm!”
Raguel also seemed shocked by Raon’s might, which had frozen the entire Demonic Corps in an instant, and the scales floating behind him swayed violently.
“Wooooooooaaaaah!”
“I thought it was all over, but he froze those monsters all at once….”
“That’s might worthy of the name Sword Immortal!”
“As long as the Sword Immortal is with us, we will never lose!”
“Sword Immortal! Sword Immortal! Sword Immortal!”
The warriors of the Five Kings Alliance, seemingly invigorated by Raon’s absolute might, drove back the celestials and Eden with blazing momentum.
“T-The Demonic Corps was taken down in a single blow...?”
“I-It’s true! He really is the Monarch of Wrath!”
“To think six Demon Kings would really appear...”
“I-If Pride appears too, we won’t be able to win unless Lord Michael comes...”
On the other hand, after the Demon Kings appeared and Raon displayed might comparable to a Demon King as well, the celestials began losing ground from the sheer difference in momentum, and their casualties rapidly increased.
Unlike the ground below, which was growing increasingly chaotic, the sky above was as still as though silence itself had settled over it.
“How...”
Uriel broke the heavy silence and parted his trembling lips.
“You drew out <Wrath>’s true power?”
Uriel deeply furrowed his brow, saying that its power was similar to the ultimate technique of Wrath he had experienced firsthand.
E-Even the King of Essence cannot believe it!
Wrath exhaled sharply, still finding it absurd even after seeing it again.
How is this possible? It should still be beyond your current might!
His eyes trembled as well, unable to understand it.
“I merely made proper use of the power given to me.”
With a single answer, Raon responded to both Wrath’s and Uriel’s questions at once.
“I finally realized what I’m capable of.”
I’ve accumulated many different powers over the years. Various sword techniques, four types of aura, the authorities of the seven Demon Kings, the level of my soul that surpasses the Absolute, and even the traits and stats I received from Wrath. Since each possesses a different nature, it has been difficult to bring them into perfect harmony until now.
However, after reaching the Absolute realm and receiving grandfather’s advice, I’ve become able to harmonize my various powers more naturally. It wasn’t a major change, but the result was enormous. I’m now able to unleash the ultimate technique with terrifying power, freezing ten thousand angels in a single instant.
‘Of course...’
Raon tightened his trembling hand and forced a smile.
‘It isn’t easy.’
My energy center is throbbing as though it’s about to shatter, and I can feel uncontrollable trembling in my hands and feet. Reproducing Wrath’s ultimate technique at this level seems to have placed a strain on me.
However, I have to forcibly conceal it because I don’t want to show weakness in front of my enemies.
“Is there only one left now?”
Raon twisted his lips into a smile as he looked at the final, seventh horn swaying at Uriel’s waist.
“Why don’t you blow that one too?”
Telling him to summon the seventh calamity, he beckoned with the hand holding the Divine Sword.
A-Are you truly insane?
Wrath’s jaw trembled in disbelief.
If that horn is blown, God’s Holy War will begin, countless calamities will descend, and even the Dragon of Destruction will be resurrected!
“Go ahead.”
Ignoring Wrath’s words, Raon calmly nodded toward the final horn.
“......”
Uriel tensed his fingertips, but in the end, he failed to reach for the horn at his waist and merely furrowed his brow.
“As expected.”
Raon sneered at Uriel as though he had expected as much.
“You still can’t handle two horns.”
Had Uriel truly been capable of handling the power of two horns, he would have prepared to blow the horn without me needing to say anything.
But far from even trying to pick up the horn, he’s doing nothing but glaring at me. It means that the plan he had originally devised has fallen apart.
Huh....
Wrath exhaled sharply, seemingly realizing it as well.
‘Drawing the celestials out early worked.’
Because I destroyed the hidden temple and killed Eden’s executives and Uriel’s attendant angels, Uriel has clearly been unable to complete his original plan and has been forced to come out here.
At first, I thought I had expended my strength unnecessarily, but seeing how things have turned out, I’m glad I made the effort.
Y-You....
Wrath shook his head, seemingly astonished that Raon was even toying with Uriel.
“Unless they call in Michael, the final Archangel, the Dragon of Destruction won’t appear. But there must be some reason he can’t come out.”
Raon curled his lips upward, saying there was no need to worry about that.
“Now I can fight without any worries.”
Now that the five Demon Kings had appeared and all six calamities had been dealt with, he felt he could focus solely on the battle before him without any worries.
“Sir Uriel!”
Ramiel stepped forward, grinding his teeth.
“Please leave that arrogant human to me! I’ll tear his throat apart with lightning!”
He bowed his head to Uriel, asking for a chance.
“Even if you beg me to spare your life….”
“Unfortunately, you already have a different opponent.”
The moment Raon beckoned at Ramiel with his hand,
Wooooooong!
Ramiel’s body began to be dragged down toward the ground as though he had been caught on a fishing hook.
“Y-You are….”
Ramiel’s jaw trembled as he looked at the one pulling him down.
“Your opponent is me….”
It was Sloth. Together with Runaan, he was pulling Ramiel down to the ground.
Kuuuuuuung!
In the end, Ramiel was dragged down by Sloth’s power and forced to stand before him with his wings crumpled.
“You damned slowpoke!”
Ramiel ground his teeth hard enough to make them creak, seemingly humiliated that Sloth had dragged him down.
“Do you think a slow bastard like you can defeat me!”
Saying that he could kill him right now, Ramiel summoned a spear of lightning above his palm.
“Try it….”
Sloth slowly nodded, as though telling him to do whatever he wanted.
“I want to finish this quickly and go to sleep.”
“I’ll kill you!”
With Ramiel’s roar, the first battle between an archangel and a Demon King began.
“Sir Uriel.”
Sariel watched Ramiel fighting Sloth before approaching Uriel’s side.
“If you leave that human to me, I will make him a slave of our celestials.”
She nodded, seemingly confident that she could defeat Raon.
“A slave? Are you crazy?”
“I’ll make you my slave!”
Evelyn and Lust soared upward, burning with an even deeper madness than the angels of the Demonic Corps, and confronted Sariel.
“You two….”
“You won’t do.”
“I’ll kill you.”
Evelyn and Lust spoke in succession as though they were one person, pushing the trembling Sariel toward the western edge of the battlefield.
“S-Sir Uriel!”
Sariel reached out as though asking for help, but Uriel did not even look in her direction.
“That human truly is different.”
Gabriel nodded as she breathed heavily.
“It would be better to deal with him now, while his strength is drained.”
Her eyes gleamed coldly, as though she had noticed that Raon’s breathing had become slightly uneven.
Sssssssss!
Just as Gabriel reached out toward Raon,
Kwaaaaaaaa!
A pure white mouth emerged above her head.
“Don’t interfere… Ngh!”
Gabriel furrowed her brow and tried to strike away the white mouth, but another mouth appeared and swallowed her whole.
“Gluttony.”
Raon looked down after sensing that the white mouth that had stopped Gabriel was the power of Gluttony, Gluttony’s authority, but both she and Dorian were already gone. It seemed they intended to face Gabriel in another space.
“With this, there’s only one Archangel left beside you, and he doesn’t seem like much help. Of course….”
Raon gave a short laugh as he looked at Raphael.
“I don’t know whether that bastard is even worthy of being called an Archangel.”
He tilted his chin toward the new Raphael, whose energy wave was completely different from that of the previous Raphael.
“Haa.”
Uriel finally seemed to regain his composure and exhaled a murky breath.
“You truly are a bastard I wouldn’t be satisfied with even if I tore you to pieces.”
He ground his white teeth at Raon, saying that even looking at him again was enough to make his anger flare.
“You are right. I cannot blow this horn yet.”
Uriel lightly tapped the final horn at his waist and nodded.
“However, the apocalypse is not far off.”
He narrowed his eyes as though there was still another opportunity to blow the seventh horn.
“Of course….”
Uriel shattered the blade of Apocalypse, releasing a chilling wave of energy.
“You will not be granted the blessing of witnessing the apocalypse.”
Declaring that he would kill Raon here and now, he raised Apocalypse, its crimson-flame blade blazing.
“I will join you.”
Raphael drew the spear from his back and pointed it at Raon. Sacred divine power was clearly burning from it, yet strangely, Raon could feel an energy even more sinister than that of a demon.
“Fine. Both of you….”
Raon was about to beckon them forward, telling them to come at him together, when—
“Two against one doesn’t make for a good picture.”
The warrior who had not moved even once since the war began rose into the air with a confident smile and stood beside Raon.
“I’ll take Raphael.”
